EQ West New Construction Painting
A landmark commercial painting project in Perth’s premier Swan River waterfront location
Classic Contractors were engaged to complete all internal and external painting works at EQ West, a $385 million mixed-use twin-tower skyscraper project in Elizabeth Quay in Perth. Designed by Kerry Hill Architects, the project features residential units, hotel accommodation, an art gallery and a viewing deck.
The EQ West development, located at Elizabeth Quay in Perth CBD, consists of two impressive high-rise towers facing the Swan River. Classic was appointed to handle all painting tasks inside and outside the landmark twin-tower project. The taller tower, a 52-story residential building, offers luxurious apartments with panoramic views of Perth's skyline, the Swan River, Kings Park, and Rottnest Island. It also features an art gallery and a viewing deck at the top. The second tower accommodates a hotel and various commercial retail units, creating a vibrant hub in the city's prime waterfront area. Classic's responsibilities included painting all areas within both towers, such as apartments, hotel rooms, common spaces, lobbies, retail areas, service zones, and all external surfaces. Additionally, Classic applied specialised epoxy coatings to the underground parking lots to ensure a durable and high-performance finish suitable for heavy traffic.
